PensionDanmark’s project development manager, Kim Bøgvad Larsen says: “We wanted it to be sustainable. We want to bring the sustainability to the next level.” which is one of the reasons Stykka was invited to come on board with this project.
With this mindset, the project got recognition at the Building Awards and received the price for the Project Development in 2021 which we are super proud of!
A project launched by PensionDanmark, where BDTU, ScandiByg, Tegnestuen Vandkunsten, and Stykka have been working closely together to develop a student home that was more sustainable, has lower operating costs and is easy to maintain. The result was StudioHome!

This award is based on a company's development of a project or area that stands out. The professional jury points out that the StudioHome concept is; “scalable, innovative and holistic”. This is because the buildings, functions, interiors, and sustainability complement each other to create a more durable concept that can be used for other future projects.
